Trump’s World Liberty’s $USD1 Stablecoin Goes Live on BNB Chain
Trump’s World Liberty’s recently launched $USD1 stablecoin is now live on the BNB Chain, marking a significant step forward in the cryptocurrency space linked to the Trump family’s digital ventures. Confirmed by multiple sources, the stablecoin is already showing signs of activity, with test transfers being made from the Wintermute public wallet, outlining the first steps of its deployment.

Additionally, Wintermute participated in tests that included transferring stablecoins and implementing cross-chain technologies between the Ethereum and BNB Chain networks. These actions were analyzed by cryptocurrency trader INVEST Y and confirmed by Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, co-founder of Binance, solidifying the currency’s presence in the digital space.
Zak Folkman, co-founder of WLFI, revealed in a statement following the successful $550 million token sale that these sales represent just the beginning of his ambitions. In a recent conversation with Sergey Nazarov, co-founder of Chainlink, Folkman anticipated “big announcements” in the coming weeks, reflecting a promising future for the initiative.
WLFI, by partnering with blockchain protocols like Chainlink and Aave, aims to enhance its offerings in decentralized finance (DeFi) and utilize decentralized oracle services. “We are primarily developing three products. Two of these are already finalized and ready to launch,” Folkman shared, highlighting the project’s progress without detailing the first product, but revealing that the other two are a lending marketplace and a protocol focused on real-world assets (RWAs).
Unlike traditional DeFi lending platforms that operate via decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), World Liberty Financial will manage its lending marketplace through its own governance process, allowing for customizations to meet the specific needs of users, especially traditional finance (TradFi) institutions.
Folkman also highlighted the integration of TradFi assets into the DeFi ecosystem, explaining that many traditional financial institutions already have tokenized assets but lack a platform for their effective utilization. World Liberty Financial aims to be that regulated and KYC-compliant bridge to facilitate these institutions’ entry into DeFi.
The company’s strategy envisions a phased implementation, starting with the lending protocol and followed by the RWA protocol, eventually converging towards the creation of RWA-backed lending markets.
