A cryptocurrency expert is grabbing investors’ attention by identifying what he considers a “generational” entry point into a direct competitor to Ethereum (ETH), Solana.
The recent analysis comes after a significant sell-off in the cryptocurrency market following Donald Trump’s tariffs on several countries, hitting several digital assets.
Analyst known as Inmortal has shared a bullish analysis on Solana (SOL). After the cryptocurrency hit a low of $112, the trader suggested that the current momentum could represent a rare and strategic buying opportunity for long-term investors.

The graphical analysis shared by the analyst draws a parallel with the behavior of the SOL token in 2021. On that occasion, SOL experienced a drop of more than 60% compared to its local peak, preceding a period of significant appreciation. This historical similarity raises the possibility of a significant recovery movement for Solana in the near future.
At the time of publication, Solana’s price was trading at $114.12, down 0.7% in the last 24 hours. In one week, the asset’s price has depreciated by 13.1%.
In addition to Solana, the analyst also shared a bullish outlook for Bitcoin (BTC). Inmortal suggested that the market’s leading cryptocurrency is preparing for a breakout and sees the possibility of regaining the $100 support level in May. While acknowledging the ambitious nature of the projection, the analyst expressed a tone of hope regarding this possible appreciation.
“Maybe this dream will come true, just maybe. $BTC,” he said. At the time of publication, the price of Bitcoin was quoted at US$82,357.40 with an increase of 0.1% in the last 24 hours.
Another cryptocurrency that has piqued the strategist’s interest is the memecoin FLOKI (FLOKI). Inmortal highlighted that FLOKI’s current price levels are reminiscent of a period prior to the last bull market cycle, which he considers a “crazy” scenario. Given this assessment, the analyst revealed that he has added FLOKI to his spot portfolio, indicating a prospect of appreciation in the coming months.
