After facing a barrage of criticism for broadcasting inappropriate content, Pump.fun, a well-known Solana-based meme coin platform, announced last Friday, through its co-founder Alon, the partial reactivation of its live streaming service. Now, 5% of users can once again access this feature, which was suspended after broadcasting content considered disturbing.
In order to prevent future incidents, Pump.fun has introduced a strict content moderation policy. This new policy clarifies what is considered acceptable on the platform and sets clear boundaries to ensure user safety and compliance with the law, without compromising freedom of expression and creativity.

The bans include promoting violence, harassment, sexual exploitation, child endangerment and illegal activities. Pump.fun has also taken a strong stance against privacy violations, including doxing, and has confirmed that it will cooperate with authorities in cases involving criminal content.
However, the platform clarified that content classified as Not Safe for Work (NSFW) is not automatically banned, as long as it does not violate the new rules. According to the policy document, the platform will evaluate on a case-by-case basis what is considered appropriate, reserving the right to moderate content unilaterally when necessary.
Violations of the new guidelines may result in immediate termination of the broadcast and suspension of the user’s account. However, users have the option to appeal the removal of content through the platform’s support system, which retains the final say on the enforcement of the policies.
