What Could Bitcoin’s Price Look Like in 2025-2033?
Bernstein, a well-known investment firm, recently released a report with bold predictions for Bitcoin’s price up until 2033. The company initiated coverage of MicroStrategy’s shares as part of their analysis.
According to Bernstein analysts Gautam Chhugani and Mahika Sapra, Bitcoin’s price is projected to hit $1 million by 2033. Additionally, they anticipate that the leading cryptocurrency could reach an impressive $200,000 by 2025.
“We have calculated the long-term market premium through a scenario analysis based on our Bitcoin price model for 2029/2033. Our baseline scenario suggests that Bitcoin will be valued at $200,000 by 2025, $500,000 by 2029, and $1 million by 2033.”
The surge in price is attributed to the expected surge in demand driven by upcoming spot Bitcoin-based exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Analysts predict that assets under management for these products could soar to around $190 billion, up from the current $60 billion.
“We view US regulated ETFs as a significant development for the crypto market, attracting demand from traditional sources of capital,” the analysts stated. They estimate that these ETFs have already generated approximately $15 billion in net new flows. By 2025, Bitcoin ETFs are projected to hold about 7% of the total Bitcoin in circulation, increasing to 15% by 2033.
As of the latest update, the price of Bitcoin stands at $67,043.63, marking a 1.1% increase in the last 24 hours.
