The official launch of the HashKey Chain Mainnet on the Ethereum Layer 2 network is already scheduled. Set to go live in the last quarter of this year, the HashKey Chain mainnet will redefine unlimited possibilities, according to an announcement by HashKey Group on Platform X. The mainnet, known as HashKey Chain, was unveiled during the Hong Kong Web2 Festival in April, and it will utilize zero-knowledge proof technology to enhance the Web3 ecosystem by offering cost-effective, efficient, and developer-friendly on-chain services.
HashKey Group, based in Hong Kong, has already made significant strides in Web3 infrastructure development and achieved a valuation of over US$1.2 billion earlier this year. The company’s supply chain financing solutions have been successfully implemented in numerous Chinese banks and suppliers, with a total of 23 banks and over 4,300 suppliers joining its platform.
In a separate partnership, Ripple has collaborated with HashKey DX, a subsidiary of HashKey Group in Tokyo, to expand the applications of the XRP Ledger (XRPL) in Japan. This collaboration aims to integrate blockchain technology into financial supply chains, an industry experiencing a growing demand for digital innovation. The partnership also includes collaboration with SBI Holdings, a major Japanese financial services company that has been working with Ripple on international remittance initiatives since 2016.
