Paradigm Capital has made a strategic move that has captured the attention of the cryptocurrency market. In a noteworthy transaction, they transferred 3.718 ETH to Anchorage Digital on Sunday, April 28. This transfer, valued at approximately US$12 million, marks Paradigm’s first Ethereum transfer in the past three months, according to Asian crypto journalist Colin Wu.
At the time of the transfer, Paradigm’s portfolio balance was around $415 million. However, this value quickly grew to over US$422 million, driven by the increasing value of their crypto assets.
An analysis by Arkham Intelligence reveals that Ethereum comprises the majority of Paradigm’s investments, with an impressive balance of 83.518 ETH, equivalent to $276.42 million. In addition to Ethereum, Paradigm also holds a significant amount of LDO, the native currency of the Lido DAO, with 70 million LDO valued at $146.30 million.
Paradigm transferred 3,718 ETH to Anchorage Digital’s custodian (0xd5…0191) today, worth approximately US$12 million. This is their first ETH transfer in three months. Currently, the Paradigm address still holds around $415 million in crypto assets, primarily 83.518k ETH.
Paradigm’s crypto asset portfolio is diverse, including OP, QWLA, INS, AAA, and BNB. Since 2019, the portfolio has generated a profit of US$26.53 million. In November 2021, the profit margin reached its peak at US$919 million. However, during the “crypto winter” period, this profit drastically declined to just US$1.7 million. Fortunately, there is now a notable recovery in the portfolio’s performance.
At the time of publication, the price of ETH was quoted at US$3,286.01, showing a 5% increase in the last 24 hours.
