In a recent and significant development, Ripple has announced a strategic partnership with Hashkey DX, a subsidiary of Hashkey Group. The goal of this partnership is to launch enterprise solutions powered by XRP Ledger (XRPL) in Japan.
Ripple, a leading provider of enterprise blockchain and cryptography solutions, has joined forces with HashKey DX, a Tokyo-based specialist consultancy firm, to introduce XRPL-based enterprise solutions to the Japanese market.
According to Ripple’s official release, HashKey DX will collaborate with Ripple and SBI Ripple Asia, a joint venture between SBI Holdings and Ripple, to bring supply chain financial solutions to Japan. These solutions will be built on XRPL, a decentralized layer 1 blockchain.
As part of the partnership, SBI Group companies will be the first Japanese corporations to utilize this supply chain financing solution. Moving forward, the three companies will explore further collaboration on various enterprise blockchain use cases, leveraging XRPL’s capabilities.
Andy Dan of HashKey DX commented on the strategic partnership, stating that XRPL was the ideal blockchain infrastructure to build their supply chain finance solution. With its proven track record and exceptional performance metrics, including fast settlement speeds, low costs, and scalability, they are confident in their ability to drive significant transformation and introduce innovative solutions for businesses in Japan.
Emi Yoshikawa, Vice President of Strategy Initiatives at Ripple, added that they are excited to work with HashKey DX and SBI Ripple Asia to introduce XRP Ledger-based solutions to Japan. This collaboration reflects their shared commitment to advancing blockchain technology and delivering value to businesses.
It is worth noting that SBI Remit, a Japanese giant, has already strengthened its collaboration with Ripple. In September 2023, SBI Remit integrated XRP into its international remittance system, expanding its alliance with Ripple and SBI Ripple Asia.
