What is the projected cost of Bitcoin in 2025? Analysts have recently confirmed their forecast of Bitcoin’s price reaching US$200 by 2025. According to information shared by The Block on June 19th, Gautam Chhugani and Mahika Sapra, analysts at Bernstein, have upheld their latest update of BTC’s target price of US$200 by the end of 2025.
The analysts have emphasized the increase in their price target prediction for Bitcoin, from US$150,000 to US$200,000 by the end of 2025. This forecast is based on the anticipated momentum of Bitcoin due to the high demand for exchange-traded funds (ETFs) based on spot Bitcoin and the marginal production costs of miners of the leading cryptocurrency in the market.
The publication also mentioned that analysts pointed out the recently released price targets on June 19th, highlighting that Bitcoin’s current price range of US$60,000 is equivalent to the value below US$10,000 recorded in June 2020, during a similar timeframe after the bitcoin halving event.
The experts further noted in their report that despite the 53% increase in the value of the largest cryptocurrency, starting at US$42,000 at the beginning of the year, the current moment could still be considered the early stages of the cycle.
They wrote, “The difference this time is the visibility of institutional demand driven by ETFs and the strategic marketing efforts of major asset managers, such as Blackrock with $20 billion in Assets Under Management (AUM) for Bitcoin ETFs, which has recognized the opportunity and may potentially witness visibility for deals worth $80-100 billion in the crypto space over the cycle. We believe asset managers have a strong incentive to ramp up marketing and distribution to expand their crypto operations.”
